links

Hi there,

I was also wondering whether there was a way to highlight the links
from one task only. At the moment when I turn the lins on, all the
links appear, which is very confusing.

What I want to do is to click on a task and be able to see what are its
precedents/successors.

Thanks

Hello,
Use the Relationship Diagram : Views / More Views...
or the Task Form, with the Predecessors and Successors details:
Window / Split...
Select the task Form, then : Format / Details / Predecessors & Successors.

Hi again project newby ,

You can't highlight the links. However, the predecessors column will give
you the ID of the predecessors, and you can Insert/Column and select
Successors to give that data.

Otherwise, if you go to Windows/Split, right-click in the lower pane and
select Predecessors and Successors, then click on a task it will show what
you want.

Alternatively, click in the lower pane, and then View/More Views.../and
select the Relationship Diagram, which will show the network diagram for the
selected task.

Thanks.)

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
