List alpabeticly

When I open a new window to send an, e-mail in Outlook and click on the "To"
button, the Contacts window opens with the contacts listed. I also have
created aditional headings under the contacts list. Such as different
companies with their employee's email addresses. These sub listings are in
the order I created them. Is there anyway to list them alpabeticly?

Corporate/Workgroup mode:
Tools menu > Services > Highlight the Outlook Address Book service > Click
Properties > Set sort order

Internet Mail Only:
Tools menu > Address Book > View menu > Sort by

No, not until you provide accurate information.
I already asked you to clarify your mail support mode.
Clarify what didn't work.
Clarify what you mean by "I created additional headings..." Are you actually
talking about separate Contact Folders here?

And yes I created seperate contact folders but I've placed them all under
the contact heading
[+]-[] Contacts
|-[] Consultants
|-[] Employees
|-[] Printing Survices

It look sort of like this. I can drag the folders around and put them in
order, but when I click on the "To" button it shows Contacts first. I then
click the drop down button next to Contacts and it list Consultants,
Employees, Printing Survices, etc out of order. This is were I want to
organize them alpabetically Ascending.

The version of Outlook you are using is a temporary, incomplete version of
Outlook for which Microsoft never provided full support.
Bottom line: You cannot do what you want with IMO and you are way overdue
for an upgrade.

IMO was a downsized version without full mail transports and without the
capacity of using the Outlook Address Book. This mode was abandoned after
Outlook 2000.

Also, if it's important to you, there is one possible workaround: you can
use a reg hack to delete your Outlook profile in IMO, then when it creates a
new one, you can add your subfolders back in exactly the order you want them
to appear.
