List box in sub sub form

I have a lookup field in my table looking up values from another table. It
works in the table, it works in the query but in the form it only shows up as
a combo box, when I want a drop down list. I have deleted that control and
tried again, all to no avail.

Is there some problem with list boxes in sub sub forms? I wouldn't think so,
but I have checked everything else.

I'm an idiot - got the toolbox buttons confused.....all fixed and feeling
