List Numbering - Bullets as Number Styles

L

Lee

I have code in two separate templates that use a bullet as
a number style. Each bullet has the exact same number
format and style. In one doc, the round, filled bullet
appears. In the other, a square, unfilled bullet
appears. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Lee

..NumberFormat = ChrW(61623)
..TrailingCharacter = wdTrailingTab
..NumberStyle = wdListNumberStyleBullet

Hi Lee

At a guess, the different templates use different fonts for the style? Try
setting the .Font characteristics explicitly.

Margaret,

You're right. The documents do have different 'normal'
fonts. I didn't consider that when modifying the code.

Thanks,
Lee

If u want only the round, highlight a bulletted statement
with a round one, the use the Format Painter brush,(yellow
brush on toolbar) and put it at the beginning of the line
with the square bullets.
If u want the square try this same step, but highlight the
square bulletted statement first of course.

Hope this does it.

Use of the Format Painter is discouraged by knowledgeable Word
