Hello,

Need list of all and complete UK Postcodes.

For first part of postcodes consisting of
City/Area Code (one or two letters)
District (one or two digits)
list can be had from
http://www.postcode-info.co.uk/counties.html

It is the second part consisting of
Sector (one digit)
Unit (two letters)
usually written with space in front or with taller bar on Royal Mail's
Signed For forms that is not available.

On uk.telecom,microsoft.public.mappoint on Sep 3 2005
http://www.postcodewise.co.uk/ announced "UK Postcode data files" for
sale, but it is not clear if they have what I want, and there is no
contact address on the site.

You can get them, but you have to pay £££.

<http://www.royalmail.com/PAF/> should help you find companies
which provide solutions for users of the Royal Mail postcode
data. Various options exist (including GIS data).

Searching for "Royal Mail PAF" might find other sources of data.

Thanks for the reference.
It appears cost of the list is 10GBP plus 400GBP

Worse, if you really need a *complete* list you'll have to keep paying,
because the list changes as new postcodes are introduced (and,
sometimes, existing ones are withdrawn).
