listing ADO file system objects

With asp and vbscript I am able to query a particular path and input the
file names and modified dates into an access database and then display them
sorted by date DESC. Then delete all the records. Is there a better way to
sort a list of 100 always changing records using an array? I would prefer
not to use a database.

You can do the sort in VB Script which I'd think is preferable if you're
