Are these postings supposed to be in chronological order? I posted 1 on 22nd
Dec and another on 23rd and they seem to be mixed in with earlier postings.

Depends on how you read the newsgroup and how you are set to sort it.

I'm not familiar with the webnews-for-dummies gateway to Usenet that
Microsoft uses to pretend that they have forums. I use a real
newsreader to do newsgroups. A newsreader lets you group threads
together so there will be a hierarchy of related posts. Doesn't the
webnews-for-dummies interface let you do that, too? Check to see if
there is a threading or grouping option.
