ListNum question

Rosemary

Hi,

We have Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 in a network environment.

My question is about formatting Word ListNum fields (or any field with a
number in it). Is there a way to get rid of the period or the close parens
following the number?

Thanks,

Select the first number in your list.
Right mouse click (or Format menu), Bullets and Numbering (do not change the
selection in the eight boxes), Customize button.
The "Numbering format:" box shows you the additional charcters included in
the Numbering. DO NOT delete the greyed characters, that is the actual Number
for the sequence, if you do Cancel. So you can change or delete the
characters that are included in your NumList.
Also if you click the More button you will see further controls that may be
if use to you.
Hope this helps
