Hi
if it is a worksheet or workbook protection password, choose tools /
unprotect sheet or tools / unprotect workbook - enter password and then
don't reprotect. If it is a password to open / modify, open the workbook
and then choose file / save as ... and give it a new name - it shouldn't
require the password again.
