Loaded Front Page, now only Excel doesn't work, please help

I recently loaded Front Page and now Excel will not work at all.
Keep getting error code 1706.
I can only use Word, Access, Publisher, Power Point, outlook and of course
Front Page.

Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs, select Excel, and run repair.
