When I try to load front page 2000 the message 'Server extensions - unable to
access configuration for microsoft personal web server' appears, could anyone
explain this to me please?

What is your OS
- and have you recently upgraded FP or the OS?

My OS is windows XP, I have recently installed office 2000 which contains
frontpage, I have also just upgraded to broadband if that makes a difference.

Win XP Home does not support any servers (PWS or IIS)
Win XP Pro supports only IIS (and the FP SE under IIS)
Uninstall PWS

If you are running Windows XP Home, NO MS web server is supported, nor are the FP run-time
extensions.

Yes, you can run it for disk-based webs, you just can't have a MS web server
or extensions to test your work for FP components that require a web server
and extensions.
