loading front page on multiple home computers

I would like to purchase MS-Front Page and load it onto all my home computers
(mine and all the kids). Is there an issue with loading this onto more than
one or two computers? I read somewhere that you can only load it onto 2
computers for some reason. Also, I may be upgrading my computer within 6
months and will need to load it on the new one. If I still have the disk and
key, will I be able to?

You are limited to 2 computers (and may have to use telephone activation for the second machine),
but it should not be used on both machines at the same time.

When you replace your computer in six months you should be able to activate
the program online. But if that fails, get yourself a cup of coffee and a
good book.
I had to re-install FP 2003 after back-to-back crashes (hard drive died,
then WinXP lost its partition table) and I spent more than half an hour on
the phone, alternating between "on hold" and talking to some fellow in India
who seemed convinced I was a cyber-Dillinger. Oddly, all my other MS apps
installed and activated routinely. Only FP caused me a headache.

You can't (well you CAN, but not legally), however I think the activation
prevents it. Office 2003 activation might be more stringent than with
previous versions, and therefore will know it is being/has been activated on
more than one PC.

A single copy = single licence = install on one computer only. You'll have
to purchase additional licences, or different copies of Frontpage.

There's no issue with reloading Frontpage on different computers (i.e. a new
computer) as long as it is removed from all previous computers.

Contact Microsoft, or your retailer concerning extra licence keys/cd keys so
you can install the one copy on several computers, each with a unique CD
key/licence.

Using 2 machines/two copies of FP at same time - and that could be the
problem - they might be using it at the same time. Therefore it is better
to get individual copies/licences.

No, but if you read the EULA, you would be violating the EULA if the same copy and product key is
installed on two machines and two different individual are/or can be using it at the same time.

The concept it that you are allowed to install it on desktop PC, then when you travel away from your
desktop PC (which is then not being used), that you can then work on a laptop PC without having to
purchase another copy/license.

do you mean if I'm typing on my desktop with my left hand using FP, and my right hand typing on my
laptop in FP...a legal notice will popup and slap me silly?? :)

Note: Applies only to applications not purchased under a MS Licensing program
