Loading Office 2000 Small Business

My new e-machine came loaded with Office 2003 and the trial period is over. I
don't want to pay for the full version. I would like to uninstall Office 2003
and load Office 2000 Small Business from disks I received with my previous
computer that is no longer used. Will this work and will my Excel
spreadsheets I created in Office 2003 work okay with Excel in Office 2000?

They should HOWEVER back them up first!!!

And be prepared for difficulty. Seems a lot of people who did what you want
to do have had issues. In my opinion, you never should have fired up the
2003 trial if you weren't going to buy it. But that's just my lowly opinion.

If your Office 2000 SBE came with the old computer, you cannot use it on the
new computer. It is OEM and lives and dies with the computer it came with.
