Here's my deal. I have an office 2003 disk and want to load all the
components on to my computer, but I need Access to run my business but only
have an office 2000 disk for that. I don't want any of the other office 2000
components on my computer. I know that in the advanced options of the 2000
disk there is a way to tell it to not load it, or that it is unavailable or
something to that effect. So I guess my question is, what is the best way to
do this so my computer doesn't crash?

First - Install Access 2000 first. Do a custom install. (I think that's what
it's called - just read the options before clicking merrily away.)

Second - Install Office 2003 next.

Select Custom Install, select Access to run from PC, nothing else,
select/create a specific folder eg \Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office2k\
Once installed, visit Office update & update
Then install Office 2003 - by default 2003 installs to a version specific
folder

Thanks y'all. Turns out upon further inspection that my new computer came
loaded with Office 2003 professional. I don't need to load anything off of
any disks! Whoo hoo!

At this date, I suspect not. Any trial version would be 2007.
