Loading word

We were sent our computer with word on it already, though
it's not fully hooked up. Its asking for user name,
intials, organization and product key. I have found the
product key on the certificate of authenicity, but when I
type everything in it says it's not a vaild product key.
What do I do????

This must be an OEM version that came package with the new computer? If so,
you need to call the OEM supplier and tell them the product key doesn't work
with the version of Word they installed. Insist that they provide a new copy
on CD with a valid product key.
