I recently purchased Access 2003 and it will not run on
my win 98!? what a pain
What do you advise

Either upgrade your OS, or don't buy Access 2003. I don't see that there are
any other options...

I dunno. I s'pose you could read the outside of the package?

Your options are to upgrade or downgrade something.

Upgrade:
Upgrade Windows

Downgrade:
See if you can get Access/Office2002 downgrade from Microsoft

I'd do both. Run later Windows coz that's the standard now, and run older
Access coz it's well tested. I'm sure you can see glaring holes in my opposing
arguments, but that's too bad. One thing's for sure, we can't make A2003 work
on Win98 for you.
