Local (per project) resource information in enterprise - 2003

I am looking to include some local information preferably per resource and by
local I mean per project. I am not looking to do any calculations or
anything other than display the data. I understand from reading other posts
that this isn’t possible or not in the normal manner, but I am very much
willing to work outside the "box" on this. For instance if I could create
tasks, tag them somehow, and apply another text, number or cost to that task
(all without affecting the schedule) then that would work as I can just
filter the views in PWA by the tag.

Any ideas, comments, help, etc would be very much appreciated. Thanks

As you know, resource information in MSPS comes purely from the enterprise
resource pool each time you open the projects so there is no way to store
local resource information against the resources directly. You could set
custom values for resources at the assignment level each time you associate
a resource to a task but this might not be the solution you are looking for.
You would set the values in the task usage or resource usage views but it
would be manual.
