local resources created?

We are in the process of our implementation and I have
noticed multiple projects now have MANY local resources
that have NO NAME and no assigned tasks.

The project managers do not know how they might have
created them. They appear to be 'garbaging' up our
resource pages and could be causing other problems.

Does anyone know how this might have been created and what
we can do to fix it?

I strongly urge you to disallow the creation of user accounts when
publishing plans. This will stop the creation of garbage resources on the
server. When your PMs create local resources in their plans, make certain
that they set the workgroup value to "none."
