Local vs Remote

I stopped using Front Page in '97 because of this problem. Now that I've
switched back the same problem is there. I know it's got to have a fix. But
the help files aren't working.

Created a web page and have files across several folders. Images and video
for one particular page each have their own folder for the files to be stored
in. This way I can keep things organized.

When I insert the image (.jpg) or video (.wmv) it creates a reference to the
image based upon my C: drive. I only need it to look in the /images/ folder
or the /video/ folder respectively. When I change the code and go back to
design mode the image/video is no longer visible. It then acts as though it
can't find the file at all.

How do I fix this one? I'm just your average guy writing this stuff and
then FTPing it off to my servers. I'd rather not have to go back to
dreamweaver for some things. Front page has got some other features I'm
getting used to.

:-(

You must first have a web or site open in FP via File Menu | Open Web / Site, then all
content/folders must be created or imported into this open web / site, then you insert or link to
your pages or files. This will ensure that all of your links are relative to the web / site when you
upload the web / site to a remote web host.
