Local Web cannot be displayed in Internet Explorer

I am able to open my local frontpage network on my PC, but when I attempt to
display it in the browser using http://servername it will not display the
web. I click on the link in the error to display the page and get the
following message:

shdoclc.dll was loaded, but the DLLUnregisterServer entry point was not
found. This file cannot be registered.

I attempted to unregister and reregister this dll with negative results also.

Can anyone give me a clue as to what I need to do to overcome this problem
and be able to redisplay my web in Internet Explorer again?

Uninstall IIS and reinstall it again.
