Locate Link Browser

I am using Outlook 2003, Internet Explorer 6.0.2900... and Windows XP SP2 on
2 systems. Both systems are up-to-date with patches and updates.
Within the last week, both systems have started giving the "locate link
browser" message when I try to open a link is Outlook 2003.
On one system, I pointed to iexplore.exe as my browser, and it works now,
but links take 15 seconds to open instead of the previous 1-2 seconds.
On the other system, I tried the fix to uncheck DDE, and now I get 2 windows
for every link I click.
I have not installed any 3rd party browsers on either system.
Now I have 2 systems with problems.
Any suggestions.

Try resetting the registry by clicking Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset
Web Settings in IE.

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I tried this on both systems,
and nothing changed. Both systems still show the same symptoms as before.
Could this be related to XP SP2, since both systems were recently upgraded to
SP2?
