Location/name of custom toolbar and where saved

Where are customizations to Powerpoint toolbars (and Word
for that matter) saved? I believe in Excel they are
saved to an *.xlb file.

To a *.PCB file where * varies - might be PowerPnt or PPT or <username>
depending on PowerPoint version and/or Windows setup.
