Jim

Where is the address book for Outlook Express located and
what is it's name/suffix?

a co-worker had a faulty hard-drive which I replaced.
I've recovered all the mail and folders from the faulty
hard-drive to the new one but haven't found the address
book file to transport across for her

Hi Jim,

Outlook Express's address book is the Windows Address Book. Look for any
file with a .WAB extension. That file will have the Outlook Express
addresses.

Hope this helps!
