Lock column

Hi,

I have a wide sheet and need to lock first column to stand still on the
left side while moving to the right side. How can I lock column?

Position cursor in cell B1 (or in B2 if you also want the headings to
be fixed) then Window | Freeze Panes. To reverse the locking, Window |
Unfreeze Panes.

Click in the 'corner' cell , like maybe B2 and use Window -> Freeze
Panes.
