Lock graphics in place

I'm working with Word 2007 and am having a hard time figuring out how to lock
the graphics in place so that any additional text added or deleted does not
move them. I looked at the text wrapping options but am not sure this is the
solution...?

Thank you in advance,

Jill

I should also mention, I did see the option to Move object with check and
cleared that checkbox. That seems to work for the "pictures" I have. But
there are a couple of instances where I have a text box and graphic grouped
together, and thus when I go to Format in the right-click menu, it's either
"Format Autoshape" or "Format Object", and the Layout tab is grayed out and
inaccessible...

Thanks again,

Jill

HI,

Yes you can only formt the objects; "to be in front of text" through the
"format autoshape". If it is greyed out, it's because the text box and image
are grouped. You must ungroup them first.
