I asked this in the Multiuser newsgroup, but did not get
a complete answer that helped. What I have is a Database
with BE and FE, Access 2000 with 15 users. What I need it
to do is when a user opens a particular form and starts
to edit a record, I need the record to lock and notify
any users that open the record after user1 so that they
know someone else is editing that record. Curently user2
gets an error message then loses some information. I
guess I'm looking for the same thing that Excell does in
a network enviroment when more that 2 people open a
spreadsheet. Any help would be great.
