If you're trying to see that row 1 doesn't scroll off the
screen, split the screen so row 1 is above the split, then
click on Window--Freeze panes.
If you want row 1 to be protected so no one messes with
it, you can set all the cells so they're locked
(Protection tab in Formatting) and then protect the sheet
with a password.
