locked documents

word2003; i can't unlock any of my documents to make
changes, and i can't even open a new document everything
is locked how do I unlock this? I've tried to restore
settings and that didn't work.

Have you activated Word? On the Help menu, choose Activate Product. If it's
already activated, you'll get a message box telling you so, and you can post
back for follow-up. If it hasn't been activated, you will be prompted to do
so.
