Locked for editing!!

My excel 2000 is 'locked for editing' due to a radio link collapse during
editing of a workbook. I have read all details from MS and I am no further
forward in alleviating this problem. I have searched the 'Help' menu for
the 'Activate' but cannot find this facility any where. Help please!

Hi,

Don't you get an option to open the file as read only - you can then edit
the file and save it with a new file name .
