Office XP or Windows XP upgrade? A few more details would be very helpful.

Sorry. It's Office 2000 and XP upgrade, but with a full
intallation of XP. I started this adventure with the XP
upgrade with all my old win98 programs and Office worked
just fine, however the system was very sluggish. I was
advised to do a full installation of XP, and now I am
locked out of office

Much obliged, Glenn

Again, you need to specify if you are talking about only Office XP and
windows 98 or Office XP and Windows XP. It is confusing if you do not
specify. Office XP upgrade?? Windows XP upgrade??

Microsoft office not office xp). Windows XP upgrade.
Here is the context.
1- office worked just fine under windows 98se
2- I upgraded the system to windows xp upgrade. office
worked just fine, but system sluggish.
3- I reinstalled windows xp again as a full upgrade, thus
zortching all my programs.
4- System is now not sluggish, but office will not
install; the product key is rejected.

Thanks again, Glenn

Ah, that's better! Thanks.

If you are trying to type in an Office product key that has either a B or an
8, ensure that you are not confusing the 2. The orange sticker can be a bit
hard to read - try substituting one for the other.
