Locking a Presentation to Prevent Changes Made

How can I save a Powerpoint slide presentation so that it
cannot ever be changed by the viewer. I will give it to
him on a rewritable disk. thanks.

You can save it as Read-Only, so changes cannot be saved
to it. Right-click on the file > select Properties. In the
General Tab, go to Attributes at the bottom and select
Read-Only.

Thanks, but consider: anyone can reverse the process the same way.

We don't like to recommend this because it may give some users a false sense
of security. They may be trusting that important data is secured, when in
fact it's not at all.
