locking an image in the background of word

Hi,

What I would like to do is create a template for my users with a page
size logo in the background. I can put the image on and put the text
on the front of it, however, I want to LOCK this so the user cannot
move the image, delete or anything else. I do not want to lose any
functionality for the users within word. is there a way to do this?

Try creating it as a watermark. You may however, have to alter the image
first to add the text onto it and resave the image.
