Locking shape

Anyone know how to "lock" or protect a shape so the size
does not change. I need to be able to change the text but
I do not want the text box to move.

I tried the "protection" under format in Visio 2000 but
the text blocks will still move.

Any ideas?

Hello,

To lock the text from moving follow the steps.

1) Select the Text box right click and select format and click protection.
2) In the protection menu select all.
3) Now when you want to edit the text, Select the text and double click or
strike F2 key on the key board.

I do not have time for a full answer, but you need to open the spreadsheet
and either "Guard" the cells or see if any of the options in the Protection
Section would do (LockWidth, LockHeight)

What is exposed through the user interface is a subset of the options
available.
