Logging or auditing of calendar changes

We want to use the Outlook Calendar to manage appoiintments for Salesmen.
However Salesmen being what they are sometimes like to make changes to
appointments (or cancel them) without permission.
Is there a way of logging changes to appointments or preventing a user from
editing his/her own calendar.
