Login failed, Project could not connect to server

Hey

At work we use Project 2007 Professional and Project Server 2007 and PWA
2007...

I've got Windows Vista installed on my computer. When I open Project 2007
Professional I get an message saying this "login failed, project could not
connect to server, please check your username and password"

I've checked my username & password, and I'm sure it's correct...

We have our projects stored on the Project Server.

Another person here don't get this message but he is using winXPpro

any suggestions why I get this error when I start project?

what happens when you try and log on via the XP machine?

Originally I had winXP on my machine. And then I was able to login
successfully. But after I upgraded to Windows Vista I'm not able to
login....

Were you using IE6 or IE7 on the XP machine, also, are you using forms
authentication or Windows Authentication. It's likely to be a security/cache
credentials issue. Is the Project Server in the same domain as your windows
account?
