Login failed while using Enterprise Options in Proj 2007 Pro

I've just installed Project Server 2007 standalone and was able to connect
via web interface from a client workstation, but not with the client software
(Project 2007 Professional).

I keep getting Login Failed. Please make sure your username/password are
correct. I'm using a local machine administrator account and Project Site
account used to create this instance of Project Server 2007.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the same account to login via PWA and Pro? Does that account
have the rights to login via Pro. Make sure that it is in the right group
initially.

I'm indeed using the same account and it is the same account used to create
the site and all. Moreover, the account is part of the Owners group under
the site.

Is there a section where you specify settings for connecting via Pro?
