I have a number of users that log into other domains and
servers remote from my facility. They can get to web
access and use share point services but when they log in
using MS PROJECT PRO to our MS Project Server running
under Windows 2003 and SQL 2000, they get error SQL 01000
SQL Error 11004 and SQL 08001 SQL Error 6.
When they visit my the main facility, they log into their
domains and servers and they then try and access MS
PROJECT and guess what, IT WORKS. When they leave our
facility and go back to their offices they are now able
to connect to the server with no problems even through
VPN and dial up access. The corporation has TCP port 1433
open, our folks are using TCP and not named pipes UDP
port is turned off in our network.
Any one experienced this one?
I have tried everything that has been suggested so far
with no luck. Even working with my Corporate IT folks to
see if a token is generated when they log in here so far
nothing.
