Login into project server

Hi,
I'm having a weird issue and I hope that someone can help me. I have set
my project 2003 professional to connect to my project server automaticaly
when I open it. The problem is that when it tries to connect it looks like it
just hung there. I hit the cancel button which brings me back to the connect
box and I select to connect to my project server and then it connects fine.
Does anyone know what could cause for it not to connect on first attempt?

What is the authentication method for that account to Project Server (Project
Server account or Windows)?

So far we've only seen this happen on some of the XP Pro SP2 I haven't heard
anyone complain on Win2k and it hasn't happened on our test machines.

We get exactly the same symptoms too. I haven't got a solution, but some
more info which might help someone diagnose it:

We're running Win XP sp1.
We get it most of the time on most or all of our machines. However,
sometimes we don't get the problem and it logs straight in.
Seems to make no difference whether you have automatic logon or choose an
account on Project Pro startup.
My theory is that it's some sort of timing issue. However, we haven't spent
a lot of time on it as iit's not critical - annoying, though.
