Login issue using FP98

Does anyone know of compatibility issues with FrontPage 98
opening a site with FrontPage 2002 extensions?

Have a user that is using FrontPage 98 trying to login to
a site that is running FrontPage 2002 extensions. It
prompts the user for U&P, and after entered it states
something to the effect of unable to connect.

Any ideas are appreciative.

Is the server running the FP2002 extensions, Unix/Linux? If so, then support
for FP98 has been drop from the latest update. Solution, switch to a Windows
host or upgrade FP.
