loginnet passport security window

Hello, I built a submit form in FP2003, had problems directing it to the
right place but thanks to Steve I've been able to get that corrected.

Now the problem is that some submitters are getting a security box that pops
up when they hit the submit button ... (loginnet.password.com) ... it says
that the website is requesting them to fill it in ... is there something that
I need to do to correct this? Again, this doesn't when I hit the submit
button, so I don't know if it happens to everyone or just some. Is this a
virus or MS asserting controls or some scripting I need to change?

I do not get a password prompt when clicking submit. I have submitted a
blank form, and received the confirmation page.

Off topic - your Interactive buttons are not working. The Javascript
functions are missing from the <head> section of the page. If you open
the web then the page and edit one of the buttons the functions should
be put in place.

There are several pages in this state.

Thanks Ron ... I'll try to fix that now ... any idea why some submitters get
the password prompt...

The only thing I "think" it could be is that your form is also saving / trying to save:
Remote computer name
User Name
Browser type

using the hidden fields feature.

Do you really need / want that info?

If not, uncheck it in Form Properties > Options > Saved Fields,
then save the page and republish and see if it fixes the issue.

I did what Steve suggested, it made a lot on sense to me...
But my customer is still having the same problem on his business and home
computers .... could it be his settings? Are there any more suggestions on
how to stop the password prompt form coming up.

Thanks, Vince

I recently had this same problem. Knowing how easy Frontpage
extensions can get corrupted I uninstalled/reinstalled Frontpage on
the server. Problem fixed.

Hope this helps
