logs/access_log error

I am getting a Conflicts error message when I publish my site. It says "Some items have changed on both the local and remost web sites and re in conflict. It then lists "Logs/Access_Log". I have the option to "Ignore and Continue" "Overwrite Remote Files" or "Cancel" When I choose to Overwrite I get an error message at the end of the attempt "Server error: The page logs/access_log has been modified by (unkown) on 07 apr 2004 15:49:47 -0400." Any help with this? Am I in trouble keeping the site running? HELP!

You host need to convert the /log folder to a subweb or move it outside of your web root.
