long alphabetical list

hi. i'm using word 2007 to prepare a report.
my report has headings that are numbered a, b, c ... and so on.
once i've passed z, the heading numbers change to aa, bb, cc and so on
i'd really prefer that they were aa, ab, ac etc.
any ideas?
