All,
Our configuration is we have one server with SQL 2000 on
it, and one server with MS Project 2002 server and
SharePoint team services on it, nothing else.
When we access the Issues section of MS Project web
access, we are presented with the Issue views in a timely
manner, but if you click on a particular issue, the "view
issue details" page, the delay before the screen is
painted with the information is very long. And it seems
the more issues in a particular project, the longer the
delay gets. In a project we have that has about 175
issues, the delay is about 50 seconds. The project with
the most issues we have, 280, takes 1 minute 20 seconds!
When you do finally get the issue, if you click on edit,
the page paints quickly. It is only the "view issue
details" page that takes a long time. And it is only
access through MS Project that takes a long time. If you
go directly to SharePoint, the "view issue details" page
paints quickly.
Any ideas on what the problem and/or solution is?
