I have an image that is longer than the slide layout. Is there any way to
perform an scrolling option or how to put it in the slide so that I wont have
to cut the image?

Few ways you can try out.

One way is to make a duplicate of the image, then use the crop command in
the picture toolbar, to crop the two images and place them on two separate
slides. This will allow you to perform the scrolling option.

Another way is to make use of the page setup (Click File > Page setup). But
page setup will affect all the slides. Check this tutorial on how you can mix
Portrait and Landscape slides in a presentation:

I do not want to crop the image nor cut it to put it in two slides. Only in
one slide but during my slide show I would like to scroll it (since it is too
long).
Page set up affects all the slides, I have them in landscape so portrait
wont help since the image has a longer width than length.

Any other suggestion?

Try this then.

Click View > Toolbars > Control Toolbox.
Control Toolbox will pop up.
Select More Controls.
Look for Microsoft Forms 2.0 Frame.
Draw the frame on the slide.
Right click on the frame, select properties.
Click on picture field, then click on the browse button.
Look for the picture you want, click OK.
Click on scrollbars, select 2 - frmScrollBarsVertical.
Set the appropriate ScrollHeight.
Does that work for you?

Try this Frank

A) work in 25% view so you can see around the slide
B) Insert pic with right edge lined up to right edge of slide
C) custom animation >motion paths>draw custom path>line
D) draw the line from the left edge of picture to left edge of slide

Picture should now scroll on click
