Long integers

My message is for Jack macDonald:

I am trying to create the tables you mentioned. However, the 2nd table
tells me to use autonumber in the first field and then long integer in the
next field. Access will not let me use two fields with autonumber. So, what
do I use for my data type in the second field?

Beth,
I don't know what thread you had going with Jack, but from what you say, it
sounds like you probably need to have the other field be Long Integer.

The first field is OK. For the second field, choose Number for data type and
then go to the bottom part of the screen and be sure it is set for Long
Integer.
