Problem resolved!
Turns out my asp folder was corrupted on the host. I ended up having the
vendor completely reset my folder and now everything works great!
Thanks all for the assistance.

wrote in message You would use Publish, and unless you specify what NOT to publish, FP will
bring down everything it needs (and sometimes more...like log files). I
don't bring down the logs, because I get errors when publishing up - as
they're not writeable...but you can fix that later.
First, I'd have your host check the FP extensions as they are likely
'busted' from using WS_FTP.
Once they do that.. open your site live with FP and File |Publish Web (Site)
and tell it where to Publsh...on your hd. Usually its to C:/My Documents/My
Webs...then whatever you want to name it..FP will create a new web there for
you. (usually).
| So one last question .... since my process always has me editing the files
| directly on the host computer, I don't have copies of all of the pages on
my
| local drive.
|
| In the past I've made backups of my site using WS-FTP and copying
everything
| over using transfer manager. Sounds like I don't want to use ftp any
| longer.
|
| How can I bring copies of my pages and files FROM the host site TO my
local
| hard drive? I see where I can "export" page by page but don't see
anywhere
| that allows me a mass copy or the ability to copy entire folders and
| content.
|
| Maybe I'm just missing something here .....
