works now that I downloaded the Microsoft Office trial version. This is very
frustrating for I love my cordless mouse.

Janet,
I'm sorry you are having problems but you have posted to a newsgroup
that deals exclusively with Microsoft Project, a planning and scheduling
application. I suggest you post to an Office newsgroup.
