Lookin and Save Menu's Very Slow

I posted this before and now I'm really confused. All of my docs are on a
mapped drive. I can access this mapped drive without a problem. I can
actually open the files quicker by opening them one by one through the mapped
drive than I can by going to file, open. Also it's all of my drop downs.
Including like insert in Word, if I want to insert a file it does the same
thing. Any suggestion?

Maybe, deleting your
prefetch files can help.

The sub folder is located
in the windows folder.

But this is only a shot
in the dark.
