I am in the process of creating a DB that holds problems and resolutions

"A DB that holds problems and resolutions" might be clarified just a bit...
there is, if memory serves, a template for a "Help Desk Solution" for some
versions of Access, but that may not be at all what you are looking for.
Precise, concise questions tend to get the best, most accurate answers; for
other good suggestions on effective use of newsgroups see the FAQ
http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm.
Searching the newsgroup archives at
http://groups.google.com might help, if
you can select an appropriate set of search words.
And, perhaps someone, either before or after clarification of your needs,
will have a suggestion. One problem that limits sharing databases is that
many of those who are most helpful here do work on contract for clients, and
don't always have permission to share the work they did for the client.
