Looking for Access 2000 to Purchase

We have a customer who has developed extensively using Access 2000. She has
requested our help but we do not have the same version of Access as she does.
I looked at the MS site and of course they no longer allow purchase/downloads
of 2000.

Does any one know where I can purchase a copy of Access 2000? Since my
company is buying, we need a professional (not educational) license. Thanks.

I do not know if 2003 is still available, but it will run 2000 in its native
format. As to "professional" version, there really is not such thing in
Access. If you are talking about having the developer's tools and the
runtime, etc, those are separate products anyway.

Hopefully, someone will have what you need. If not, I have a full legal
copy of 2003 I no longer use (I purchased it before upgrading to Office 2003
Professional) that I would be willing to part with.

If you have an interest, post back with an e-mail address ( done so it can't
be mined) and I will contact you.

If you have Access 2002 or 2003, use the Access 2000 format and you can view
and create files that work just fine in Access 2000. If necessary, go to
Tools >>> Options >>> Advanced and set the Default File Format to Access
2000. You can also do this in 2007 You must make allowances for references
included which will more than likely be broken when you return the files to
your client. Your client should be able to easily fix them.

Hey, thanks for the responses. We have access to Access 2003 already. It
looks like 2000 is no longer available. I think that as long as we can
create forms and databases that are compatible with what the client is
currently using, then she should be satisfied.

This was my first time using this forum. I really appreciate the timely help
and good suggestions.
